About the process, paper, art and words:

We save donated damaged dictionary books, sheet music pages and newspaper periodicals to create our unique versions of canvases which can be up to 149 years old. Each canvas made of handpicked pages is archivally sprayed and mounted on acid free backing for preservation before we paint on them. Due to this process and the paper NO two pieces, even in a numbered limited edition original series, are the same because the words match the images and the images match the paper - so each piece is truly a one of a kind. Our mixed media works are created with a combination of chalk, charcoal, pastels, acrylic pens as well as 14k gold lame and liquids chrome pens. The art is then finished with different application ranging from diamond dust and Australian glass beads, to 18k gold paper, real Butterflies, real Money and Augmented Reality (Art that comes alive with a special QR code) Lastly as mixed media artists we seek to collect some of the rarest memorabilia to accompany our very special Music and Hollywood Iconic Stars pieces, which makes them truly ONE OF A KIND and highly sought after.
