This art piece was inspired by a sign we saw hanging on a freeway overpass in Los Angeles which read “There are no aliens here “. It was spelled in duct tape on a tattered canvas. A day or two later we decided to create an art piece that would include a history lesson with a powerful message and imagery to go along with it. NOBODY’S ILLEGAL ON STOLEN LAND. The irony of it all. Indeed.
